i got caught with 8 empty stamp bags whats going to happen?
im only a few months from being 18 and im from pa well this all happened in west virginia...i had no clue it was in my purse or anything but the cops were not clear on what was going to happen. they did say if we set a few people up things would seem as nothing had happen...and i don't know bout all of that but could u guys please help me???
Well they say the one that talks...walks...however if they were empty and you have Never Been in trouble before..then I am assuming that you will be charged with a misdemeanor and fined.As far as setting people up...that works in some cases...(large quantities and such to reduce your sentence) but for something as little as this I would just take what little charge you will be given(unless of course You Are simply worried about your record and even then the judge may give you a break and tell you if you do not get in trouble within the next 6 months they will expunge it from your record...something similar happen to me when I was 20...never got in trouble again and I do not have a record).
I do kinda agree with the first answer only because it is such a small offense...and a guy I used to know got caught selling in August of 2005 he was caught with quite a large quantity and received probation and no jail time...every one knew why...then in May of 2006 the same narcotics team took down a whole ring of drug dealers(right up to the top guy) and the paper printed that the investigation started in August of 05' after the narcotics team was given useful information pertaining to their activity...yup busted!
So really if I were you I would take my chances with the judge if you have never been in trouble before...consult an attorney..or if you can not afford one a public defender...either way I wouldn't worry too much...and I certainly wouldn't start singing yet either.Good Luck!
